A Photographic Memory


Membership Award

This award has been designed to help Beaver Scouts understand the commitment that they are making when they make their Promise and become Members of the Movement and the Beaver Scout section.

Requirements

It is recommended that Beaver Scouts complete the following activities in areas one and two before they make their Promise and the badge is awarded.

Area one - Know about the Colony

  • attend at least four meetings

  • get to know other members and leaders in the Colony

  • find out about ceremonies and traditions in the Colony

  • find out about activities available in the Colony.

Area two - Know about joining the Colony

  • know and show an understanding of the Beaver Scout Promise

  • know and show an understanding of the Scout Motto, sign and handshake

  • know what to do at your Investiture

  • know the meaning of the badges you will receive at their Investiture

  • show a general knowledge of the family of Scouts, worldwide Scouting and the history of Scouting.

Area Three - Promise

  • become a Beaver Scout by making the Promise.

BEAVERS were asked to write something about themselves.
Here's what they said:

My name is Harry. I am six years old and my hobbies are football & swimming.

My name is Joe, I was born April 2003. I like football, riding my bike, and support Wolves. I like watching TV especially Iron man & Spiderman, also building with Lego and going to Beavers.

My name is Jack, my age is 6 1/4. my hobbies are rugby and football. I like spaghetti bolognaise and sausages.

My name is Connor. I am 7 years old and live in Cheltenham with my mummy and daddy and my brothers Callum (4 yrs old) and Ethan (19 months old).  I go to Naunton Park Primary school and my favourite subject is maths. I love playing sport especially football. I enjoy playing Star Wars on the Wii.  My friend is Alex.

My name is Daniel. I am six years old. My hobbies are football and swimming.

My name is Henry. I am 7 years old and I live with my mum and dad and sister Ruby. I have a dog called Max and a fish called Rosie.  I go to Beavers, swimming and ju-jitsu. My favourite colour is Blue.

My name is Ben. I am 6 years old. my hobbies are football, swimming and riding my bike.

My name is Jack. I am 6 years old and I like playing D. S.
